The inspiration for this Woodland Anniversary Styled Shoot came about one day while I was shopping and found this amazing dress! It totally wasn’t on my shopping list, but when you come across a clearance rack find how can you pass it up? As a creative photographer most of my inspiration for shoot dresses are discovered while I’m out doing one of my favorite things. Consignment shopping in Soda City! Choosing the perfect design elements are so important to bring a vision together, so I found the cutest little pink cactus earrings as the highlight of my styling details.

Ashley and JK had recently celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary and they turned out to be just right for this shoot. JK is the ultimate surfer dude, super cool and chill. He definitely surprised me though; he was so into the shoot! By the time we were finished, I had him volunteering himself and Ashley as models for my future shoots!
