I'm a natural light, intimate wedding and couples photographer based in Columbia, South Carolina, and I creatively capture love's authentic moments for fun, adventurous couples. A hopeless romantic in love with love! My favorite movie is Ever After (a Cinderella story of course!) I live for warm chocolate chip cookies and Hallmark movies. I enjoy taking walks in nature with sunlit trees and listening to the sound of rushing water (It reminds me of how the Bible describes the voice of God). Creativity is in my blood. My hobbies are drawing, painting, fiction writing and greeting card design. You probably noticed that I didn't list photography as a hobby. That's because photography has been something entirely different and special. It was never a hobby for me. I love that it allows me to capture and express real, and powerful emotions as I connect with you and the love of your life.
My photography journey started over 20 years ago straight out of college. I didn't grow up with a camera in my hand but rather one was handed to me. I've tried many different types of photography along the way, but now, after all this time I'm finally embracing what brings my heart the most fire and joy. COUPLES! Couples that are truly and deeply in love with each other and who have decided to take this journey called LIFE together!

My couples will tell you that photography isn’t just a job for me. It my passion. I get to witness your love-story! Each time that I snag a beautiful image with the lens of my camera, I actually find myself getting excited like a little kid and saying, “Ooh, look at that!” I call those my “God Shots”. Those are the ones that capture a piercing look, a shy smile or stirring moment so perfectly that it seems as if God literally stepped in and took the shot himself. Because I believe that it's God who allows me to do what I do and that all my skill and ability comes from him. My goal is to let Him speak through me and my work.

When I was a little girl, my mom would sit and draw with me. Drawing people from photographs and creating images fascinated me so much that I took art classes every school year. I loved visual arts but I had no idea that photography would become my greatest passion. I had never even considered it as something I was interested in. I went to college for graphic design and photography was one of my electives. One day a friend of the family gave me an old film camera. I remember thinking, maybe I can help photograph my friend’s wedding. I had no idea where that thought came from. Looking back, I really believe it was God calling me to what I was really meant to do.
I had no idea that photography would become my greatest passion.
